Overview

Arrive at O'Hare to a car that's already waiting

O'Hare airport pickup is our arrivals service: a private, chauffeured ride waiting for you the moment you land at ORD. From the time your plane leaves its origin, we track it in real time — so if you arrive early, sit on the tarmac, or get rerouted, your pickup adjusts automatically. No re-booking, no surge, no wondering where your ride is.

You choose how we meet you. Want a hands-free arrival? Our chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim with a name sign and helps with your bags. Traveling light and prefer to walk straight out? We'll be at the lower-level arrivals curb the minute you reach it. Either way, this page walks you through O'Hare's terminals, where international flights land, and exactly where to find your driver.

Only flying out? See our O'Hare airport drop-off page, or book both legs together as a round-trip airport transfer.

How we meet you

Two ways to be picked up at O'Hare

Both include flight tracking and a flat rate. The only question is whether you want your chauffeur waiting inside, or pulling up to the curb.

Inside the terminal

Meet & Greet

Your chauffeur parks, walks in, and waits for you in the baggage claim hall holding a sign with your name. They help with your luggage and walk you to the car — the most relaxed way to land.

Where to find your driver: Lower-level baggage claim, by the carousel for your flight, holding a name sign. For international arrivals, just outside the Terminal 5 customs exit.
  • Best for international arrivals, first-time visitors, families, and VIPs
  • Help with luggage from the carousel to the car
  • No phone calls or curbside coordination needed

At the curb

Curbside Pickup

Prefer to walk straight out? Your chauffeur waits nearby at O'Hare's free Cell Phone Lot. Grab your bags, send a quick text or call, and the car pulls up to the lower-level arrivals curb within a few minutes.

Where to find your driver: The lower-level (Arrivals / Baggage Claim) curb — the commercial vehicle lane on the center island. Your chauffeur tells you the exact door once you're ready.
  • Best for domestic arrivals and light packers
  • No circling fees — we wait free at the Cell Phone Lot
  • Met at your own terminal — no train ride to a rideshare zone

Which airlines land at which terminal

O'Hare has four terminals — 1, 2, 3, and 5 (there is no Terminal 4). Tell us your airline and flight number when you book and we route to the right terminal automatically; here's the lay of the land.

International arrivals

Landing from abroad? Here's where we meet you

Most international flights that require U.S. Customs arrive at Terminal 5, which houses O'Hare's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility — even for some airlines whose departures leave from Terminal 1 or 3. Flights from preclearance cities (much of Canada and Ireland, among others) clear customs before takeoff and arrive at the domestic terminals like a domestic flight.

  1. 1Immigration — after deplaning at Terminal 5, you follow the corridors to the CBP hall and clear passport control.
  2. 2Baggage claim — collect all your luggage on the lower level, even if you have a connecting flight.
  3. 3Customs — clear the customs and agriculture inspection, then exit into the arrivals hall.
  4. 4Meet your chauffeur — for meet & greet, we're waiting just outside the customs exit with a name sign; for curbside, we pull up to the lower-level curb when you're ready.

The whole CBP process rarely takes more than a couple of hours, and because we track your flight and wait at the Cell Phone Lot, there's no charge while you clear customs. We recommend meet & greet for international arrivals — it's the easiest way to land in a new city.

O'Hare pickup rules

Where pickups actually happen at ORD

O'Hare separates rideshare, taxis, and pre-arranged car service into different areas. The big advantage of booking a private car: we meet you at your own terminal's lower level — no train ride to a shared rideshare zone. Here are the locations that matter.

A note on timing: O'Hare allows a short grace period after landing to collect bags, and because we wait at the free Cell Phone Lot and track your flight, you're never rushed and never charged for normal customs or baggage delays. Your chauffeur confirms the exact door by call or text.

Greeted by name

Choose meet & greet and a chauffeur is waiting in baggage claim with your name on a sign, ready to take the bags.

No rideshare zone hike

Good to know

O'Hare pickup questions, answered

Where exactly will my driver meet me at O'Hare? +
It's your choice. With meet & greet, your chauffeur waits inside on the lower level at baggage claim, by your flight's carousel, holding a sign with your name (just outside the customs exit for international arrivals). With curbside pickup, the car pulls up to the lower-level arrivals curb — the commercial vehicle lane on the center island — the moment you reach it.
Do you track my flight if it's early, late, or delayed? +
Yes. We track your flight in real time from the moment it departs, so your pickup automatically shifts to the actual landing time. Your chauffeur waits free at O'Hare's Cell Phone Lot until you're ready, and there's no surge or penalty for normal delays.
I'm arriving on an international flight — where do you meet me? +
Most international flights clear U.S. Customs at Terminal 5. After you clear immigration, collect your bags, and pass customs, your chauffeur is waiting just outside the Terminal 5 arrivals exit with a name sign (for meet & greet) or pulls to the curb when you're ready. Flights from preclearance cities such as those in Canada or Ireland arrive at the domestic terminals instead.
Which terminal will I arrive at? +
It depends on your airline: United uses Terminal 1; United Express, Air Canada, and JetBlue use Terminal 2; American, Alaska, and several international carriers use Terminal 3; and Delta, Southwest, Frontier, and most international arrivals use Terminal 5. Just give us your airline and flight number and we route to the right terminal automatically.
How is this different from taking an Uber or Lyft? +
Standard rideshare pickups at O'Hare happen in a designated zone on the upper level of Terminals 2 and 3 — so if you land at Terminal 1 or 5, you have to take the ATS train there with your luggage. We come to your own terminal's lower level, your fare is fixed in advance with no surge, and you can be met right at baggage claim.
What does meet & greet cost, and is it worth it? +
Meet & greet adds a modest fee over curbside pickup for the in-terminal greeting and luggage help. It's well worth it for international arrivals, first-time visitors, families, elderly travelers, and anyone who'd rather not coordinate at the curb. See our dedicated meet & greet page for details.
