O'Hare has four terminals — 1, 2, 3, and 5 (there is no Terminal 4). Tell us your airline and flight number when you book and we route to the right terminal automatically; here's the lay of the land.

Airline-to-terminal assignments shift as O'Hare modernizes — always confirm with your airline. The Airport Transit System (ATS) train connects all terminals and the remote parking and Multi-Modal Facility, free of charge. More on arrivals & flight tracking
Most international flights that require U.S. Customs arrive at Terminal 5, which houses O'Hare's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility — even for some airlines whose departures leave from Terminal 1 or 3. Flights from preclearance cities (much of Canada and Ireland, among others) clear customs before takeoff and arrive at the domestic terminals like a domestic flight.
The whole CBP process rarely takes more than a couple of hours, and because we track your flight and wait at the Cell Phone Lot, there's no charge while you clear customs. We recommend meet & greet for international arrivals — it's the easiest way to land in a new city.
O'Hare separates rideshare, taxis, and pre-arranged car service into different areas. The big advantage of booking a private car: we meet you at your own terminal's lower level — no train ride to a shared rideshare zone. Here are the locations that matter.

A note on timing: O'Hare allows a short grace period after landing to collect bags, and because we wait at the free Cell Phone Lot and track your flight, you're never rushed and never charged for normal customs or baggage delays. Your chauffeur confirms the exact door by call or text.
